Welcome to Model Secondary!

Academic Success

To ensure you have a successful school year, you can

  • Set academic and extracurricular goals for yourself. What do you hope to achieve? What support do you need to achieve your goals? Who can provide that support in your life?
  • Know your schedule and instructors. Read your classes' syllabi. Introduce yourself to your teachers, and consider setting up an appointment with them so they can get to know you!
  • Get involved in a school-sponsored club or sport. Not sure which one? Stop by the counseling office to schedule a brainstorming session with a counselor!

Our challenging high school curriculum prepares the next generation of leaders through participation in service, extracurricular activities and scholarship.

  • Prepare for college through intensive liberal arts core curriculum

The 2022-23 Tutoring Schedule is available here. Every Model teacher offers tutoring once a week.

You can also set up a tutoring time with your teacher by emailing them directly or visiting them during the Advisory and Enrichment Period (10:50 - 11:20 a.m.).
