While most Model students were resting up for the last quarter of the semester, four Patriots traveled to Atlanta, Ga. to compete in the National Amazing Shake Competition. One of those students, Delaney Brown ('29), was named to the Top 10 of the entire nation's participants after advancing through four rounds of challenges. Delaney Brown, Callan Hall ('29), Aiden Flynn ('27), and Caleb Crispin ('29) attended the national competition after qualifying through "The Gauntlet" earlier this school year. Callan Hall was also recognized by a challenge judge for his conversation skills, storytelling, and poise. Congratulations on making history with Model's best showing yet at Amazing Shake!
The Amazing Shake is a competition with an emphasis on manners, discipline, respect, and professional conduct. Students learn the nuances of professional interaction skills such as how to give a proper handshake, how to "work a room," how to give a successful interview, and how to remain composed under pressure.
