On Monday, April 8, 2024, an extraordinary astronomical event will occur—a total solar eclipse. At approximately 3:08 p.m., Richmond, KY, will witness 95% coverage of the sun. We believe this presents a unique learning opportunity for our students and an experience to be shared with families. To ensure the safety of all students and to enable families to witness this phenomenon together, we have decided to have an early dismissal that day.
